Set directly across from the shore of Loch Ryan, and boasting uninterrupted views, this licensed guest house is 500 metres from Cairnryan ferry terminal and 5 minutes from Stranraer terminal.
Guests can sit in the garden, or relax in the lounge by the fire, with a drink, whilst watching the ferries go by. All rooms are en suite and non-smoking, with plenty of features to ensure your comfort.
There is off-road parking for 10 cars.
Originally the Manse, the family-run, licensed Cairnryan House was built in 1894 and still retains many of its original features.
Rooms are furnished to a high standard and most have views over Loch Ryan. During the summer guests can sit out in the garden with a drink, or inside by a fire on cooler occasions.
Please let us know your anticipated time of arrival in the "Guest Remarks" section of the booking form. We can make arrangements for late entry for guests arriving on the midnight ferries from Belfast and Larne.

If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Double rooms and ground-floor double rooms all have a view of the loch view. Most of the rooms have king-size beds.
Family rooms are spacious with double-aspect views of Loch Ryan to the front and Cairnryan village and the lighthouse to the side. Each of the family rooms has one double bed and one single bed. The rooms can sleep 2 adults and one additional adult or child over 13 years of age. Please note that Cairnryan House does not accept children under 13.
The twin rooms have a view of either the garden or the loch. Single rooms offer sole occupancy of a twin or double room.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 08:45 each day. If you require an extra early breakfast, we can still provide you either with breakfast before you leave, or with a continental breakfast to take with you.
Breakfast consists of a buffet style selection of cereals, yoghurt, bread and fruit followed by a fresh home cooked breakfast made to traditional Scottish recipes, using locally farmed produce wherever possible.

From the Port of Cairnryan turn left out of the Port entrance and head north on the A77 for approximately 500 metres (600 yards) and you'll see our sign on the right. For ferry foot passengers we are less than a five minute walk from the terminal.
From the Port of Stranraer turn left out of the Port and travel north along the A77 for approximately 6 minutes (5 miles)
From the north, Ayr/Glasgow you'll be travelling south on the A77, on entering Cairnryan, pass the lighthouse on your right, travel through the village and you'll see our sign on the left. If you reach the Cairnryan port entrance you've gone too far.
From England shortly after you pass through the village of Castle Kennedy, the last village before Stranraer, turn right on to the A751 signposted Ayr and Cairnryan. At the end of this road, turn right onto the A77. Having passed the Cairnryan Ferry Terminal you'll see our property 500 metres further along on the right.
